“Cry Innocent” Performances in 2017

Cry Innocent SCHEDULE (2017)

The summer season (7 days per week) runs June 18th through August 27th. Summer season trial times are daily at 11:30 and 2:30, except Sunday, which has a 2:30 performance only. Ten minutes before each show, participate as Bridget Bishop is arrested in the street on charges of witchcraft.

In September, the show will play on Saturdays and Sundays only, at 2:00. (excepting specially arranged shows for private groups.)

The 2017 October season runs seven days a week, October 1–31st, with an 11:30, and 2:30 trial most days.  Many days have additional show times, which vary by day. Ten minutes before each performance, participate as Bridget Bishop is arrested in the street on charges of witchcraft. 

Ask at the History Alive, Inc. box office cart, located in Derby Square, for directions to the location of Bridget Bishop’s arrest.

Approximate duration of the trial reenactment is 45 minutes.

– 1 ticket for History Afoot walking tour:  A 45-minute tour of downtown Salem with our costumed, licensed tour guides, primarily concentrated on 17th century history. 3:30 only
– 1 ticket to The Spirit of Salem:  A 35 minute film of important moments and people in Salem’s almost 400-year history. Multiple show times.
– 1 admission to The Salem Museum:  Located on the first floor of Old Town Hall, The Salem Museum gives a rich overlay of important events in the history of Salem. Open 12-5.

Please purchase your GOOD DAY PASS at the box office cart, based on CRY INNOCENT performance time.

-We recommend that you purchase admission before Bridget Bishop’s arrest to avoid a sudden line. This enables you to follow Bridget all the way into the theatre without needing to stop at the box office.
-Online ticket buyers, please check in to the box office cart at least twenty minutes ahead of time to exchange online tickets for 17th c. currency. This will help get you into your seat faster, as well as update you of any changes to the arrest location.
-In October plan for plenty of time to look for parking (or better yet, take the train, bus or ferry).
